Work prep shifts to batch productPut away large deliveries and help maintain a clean and organized back of house. Pull and deliver spirits, food and ice as needed or as directed by bartenders and management, including organization of storage rooms.
Prepare syrups and garnishes for bar daily, as directed.
Wash and polish glassware and bar utensils.
Work closely with bartender at the end of shift to clean, break down and consistently maintain health department cleanliness standards.
Work as a team with all Inn Cahoots personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.
Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to bartenders, servers and/ormanagement.
Clean up after guests. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware etc. in appropriate areas for washingClean bar and/or table tops, chairs, and stools between seating.
Clean floor, as required or directed.
Reset and rearrange bar and/or tabletop, as required.
Wash dishes and/or glassware in the absence of the dishwasher and/or as directed by managementCommunicate health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to managementPerform other duties as directed by supervisor.
Physical/Skill RequirementsMove and/or stay in a stationary position during entire shift.
Frequently reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
Frequently wash hands.
Be able to move items weighing up to 35 lbs.
Be able to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry and wipe.
Be able to communicate with guests and colleagues.
Detect and perceive both close and distant objects.
Must be 21 or older.
Must maintain TABC certification.
