Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a welcoming environment. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored properly following food safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to enhance the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions. Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service regulations. Experience Previous bartending experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings preferred. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest satisfaction. Familiarity with food handling, food safety standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience in beverage recipe development or beverage management is a plus. Background in hospitality industry roles including food service, catering, banquet service, or retail beverage sales is advantageous.
