Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash management. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages during busy periods. Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experiences. Skills Proven experience in bartending within the food industry or hospitality sector, preferably in fine dining establishments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations relevant to the restaurant environment. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for efficient order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in drink preparation. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
