Barback Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and energetic Barback to support our bartending team. The Barback will assist in maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized bar area to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Stock and restock bar supplies, including bottles, garnishes, glassware, and utensils. Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and surfaces. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supplies that need reordering. Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations. Support in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and answering questions when necessary. Handle waste disposal and ensure a tidy work environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a barback, barista, or similar role preferred but not required. Excellent organization and multitasking skills. Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of basic alcohol and beverage service is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.).

Working Conditions:

This position requires standing for long periods and working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
