Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Mix and garnish cocktails according to recipes or customer requests
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
• Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies and ingredients
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail mixing techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs)
• Must be at least 21 years old (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction)

Skills:

• Food handling: Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures

• Hospitality:

  Providing excellent service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers

  Assisting customers with their needs and providing guidance when necessary
• Basic math: Performing calculations for cash transactions, bill splitting, etc.

  Experience in catering events or functions, including setting up bars, serving guests, etc.
• Cash handling: Accurately processing cash transactions, giving correct change, etc.

  Proficiency in basic math skills for calculating totals, percentages, etc.

• Sales:

  Upselling drinks or promoting specials to increase revenue
• Customer service: Providing exceptional service by addressing customer needs and resolving any issues
