Musashi Japanese Fusion is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Server / Bartender to join our team. We are a modern Japanese restaurant focused on high-quality sushi, Japanese cuisine, craft cocktails, sake, wine, and exceptional guest service.

ResponsibilitiesProvide friendly, attentive, and professional service to every guestTake food and beverage orders accurately and efficientlyPrepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, sake, and other beveragesDevelop strong knowledge of our sushi, Japanese cuisine, sake, wine, cocktails, and menu specialsMake thoughtful food and beverage recommendationsProperly course meals and communicate with the kitchen and sushi bar to ensure smooth serviceMonitor tables and anticipate guest needs without guests having to askHandle POS transactions and guest payments accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service areaFollow all alcohol-service, food-safety, and sanitation requirementsAssist teammates during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environmentComplete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilitiesHelp create the high level of hospitality and consistency expected at MusashiQualificationsPrevious serving or bartending experience strongly preferredJapanese restaurant, sushi, upscale-casual, or fine-dining experience is a major plusBartending and cocktail knowledge preferredKnowledge of sake, wine, Japanese whisky, and spirits is a plusStrong communication and guest-service skillsProfessional appearance and positive attitudeDependable and punctualAble to multitask and remain composed during high-volume serviceMust work well as part of a teamMust be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekendsMust meet all Texas requirements for serving alcoholic beveragesWhat We re Looking ForWe want people who take pride in hospitality.
