Job Summary We're looking for an energetic and dependable Barback to join our team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our beverage service, supporting bartenders and ensuring our venue runs smoothly. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, including liquor, glassware, and garnishes to keep the bar fully stocked during service. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning bar surfaces, tools, and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar area promptly to keep the space organized. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving kegs or boxes as needed. Support food service operations by helping with food prep and ensuring timely delivery of beverages to guests. Follow all food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure responsible beverage handling. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address any needs quickly. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in bars or restaurants is a plus. Knowledge of bar cleaning procedures, bussing, and basic food safety standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and POS system operation such as Micros POS or similar systems. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about beverage service and venue operations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or busy event days as needed.
