Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Manage cash transactions, process payments, and handle cash safely and responsibly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about drink options, and recommend beverages based on preferences. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, wine, beer, mixers, and garnishes; restock supplies as needed. Handle food service responsibilities when required, including serving food items during events or in restaurant settings. Demonstrate expertise in mixology techniques, beverage presentation, and garnishing to elevate guest experiences. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours or special events such as banquets or catering functions. Skills Proven experience in bartending within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality venues. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Extensive cocktail experience with a focus on mixology principles and beverage recipe development. Deep understanding of spirits, wine varieties, brewing processes, and craft beer trends. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Food safety certification knowledge along with proper food handling procedures. Ability to process cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; cashiering experience is a plus. Experience in bar management or supervising bar staff is advantageous but not required. Familiarity with food industry standards for sanitation and safety regulations within hospitality settings.
