Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards. Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff. Provide attentive guest service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items—including fine dining options—and upselling specials to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and kitchen sanitation practices. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals while balancing cash drawers at shift end. Assist with food preparation or bussing tables as needed to support smooth restaurant operations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring every visitor feels valued and welcomed. Requirements Proven experience in food service roles such as bartender, server, host/hostess, or related hospitality positions; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; previous cashiering experience preferred. Knowledge of the food industry's best practices in serving, guest services, and hospitality to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
