Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth operations throughout service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, including bar cleaning, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Buss tables promptly by clearing empty dishes, glassware, and trash to keep the venue tidy and welcoming for guests. Support food service staff with basic food preparation tasks and ensuring food industry safety protocols are followed. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, moving kegs or boxes, and organizing storage areas efficiently. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS to assist with cash handling and order processing when needed. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate venue beverage service, catering setups, or banquet functions for large events. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or bar environments is highly preferred. Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail; familiarity with bar cleaning and food safety compliance is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and serve guests professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management. Experience with catering or banquet service is great but not required.
