As a Bartender , you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages while delivering exceptional guest service and contributing to the hotel's financial success. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest standards: Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, company standards, and guest preferences. Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Maintain thorough knowledge of all beverage offerings, food menus, promotions, and daily specials. Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and process guest payments. Verify guest identification and serve alcohol in accordance with all federal, state, local, TABC, and company regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, including liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, mixers, glassware, and supplies. Monitor inventory levels, restock as needed, and notify management of low inventory or product issues. Prepare garnishes, batch cocktails, and complete opening, running, and closing side work. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit by anticipating needs and resolving concerns professionally. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area in accordance with health and safety standards. Follow all cash handling, key control, and liquor accountability procedures to protect company assets. Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure efficient service. What are we looking for?
