Ensurecompliance with all hotel standards and local laws. Ensure compliance with health,safety,and sanitation awareness standards. Must have extensive knowledge of a variety of alcoholic beverages, mustretainand maintain complete knowledge of all food andbeverage menuitems. Perform all necessary tasks for bartender according to the standard operating procedure of the hotel including but not limited setting up BQT bars with glassware and beverage, polishing all glassware, garnish prep, stock ice, proper breakdown and storage of beverage requisitions, service of all beverages, proper bar closing procedures. Perform allsideworkassigned by management including but not limited to the cleaning of all bar and beverage equipment, cleaning bar seats and surroundingguests'areas, cleaning of walls, bar floors and surrounding assigned work area. Check identification for proof of age whenrequired. Set up and break down the bar area. Responsiblefor adheringto all proper trash procedures. Contribute to the restaurant sanitation operation and timing of service out of the kitchen and into all banquet areas.
Ensureprompt delivery and quality control frompointof departure to arrival. Perform proper steps of service. Responsible for ensuring high-quality bar sets, service, foodquality,and presentation. Reporttomanagement any need for housekeeping or maintenance of restaurant areas and equipment. Responsibletomaintainall furniture,fixturesand equipment to a high standard. Minimize breakage bydemonstratingcare when handling hotel assets and equipment. Assistin the controlling of food and beverage quantities by avoiding over/under preparing. Responsiblefor performingaccuratePOS procedures and cash/credit handlingin accordance withhotel policies and procedures. Ensure positive guest service and respond positively to complaints, taking allappropriate actionsto turn dissatisfied guests into return guests. Respond to guests' requests inan accurateandtimelymanner, creating a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience. Maintain knowledge of hotel offerings and local surroundings,i.e.nearby entertainment, theaters, etc. Responsibleto attenda dailystand-upmeeting to gather relevant information prior to each event. Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of all restaurant space, FOH & BOH. Complete all necessary daily paperworki.e.)bar requisitions, count logs, waste logs. Executesall necessary instructions on Restaurant Event Orders. Encourages and builds mutual trust,respect,and cooperation among co-workers. Treats co-workers fairly and equitably. Maintain a professional,neat,and organized appearance according to Omni standards. Respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safetysituation. Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident. Attend allrequired departmenttrainingand meetings. Perform any other duties required by management.
Ability tomaintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times. Must have the ability to report to work on time and when scheduled. Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must meet standards of appearance andmaintain a high level of personal hygiene at alltimes. TheCandidate must be comfortable speaking to guests. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing with guests, management, and co-workers. Qualifications:
TheCandidate must have hands-on food and beverage knowledge and a comprehensive, working knowledge of the hospitality business. A minimum of relevant bartending experience inahotel is strongly preferred. Mustpossessstrong knowledge of mixology, beveragegarnishesand overall beverage service to include liquor,beerand wine knowledge. Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights,weekendsand holidays. Highly developed customer serviceskills;possessinga friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Proven ability to engage guests at all levels. Must be passionate about providinga warm,engaging,and personalized service. Candidatesmust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities. Mustpossessthe ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations.Ability tomaintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times.
