Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision ensuring consistency and quality in every drink. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to foster a positive environment that encourages repeat visits. Manage Toast POS systems to accurately process orders, payments, and refunds while maintaining cash handling accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards, and health regulations. Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate service procedures while ensuring compliance with Virginia ABC regulations. Assist in preparing drinks for Wait Staff to provide to seated guests efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or special events. Skills Proven experience in food service environments, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. Proficiency with Toast POS system for efficient transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during peak hours without sacrificing quality. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations gracefully. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible Virginia alcohol service protocols. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order entry. Experience in serving at the food industry or hospitality sector; catering or brewing experience is a plus. Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
