Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with patrons, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in laid back, beach themed environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to recipes and customer preferences Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience Operate POS systems such as Skytab processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness of bar area, glassware, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and change distribution Assist in setting up for events including banquets or catering functions as needed Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours or special events Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Experience with serving food or catering is a plus but not required Knowledge of the food industry, brewing processes, or hospitality operations is advantageous
