Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Assistant Manager / Shift Lead to support daily operations at our window-service snack bar. This role serves as the Secondary Operator—stepping in to cover shifts, support the Manager, and help ensure smooth, consistent operations with a strong focus on soft serve ice cream service.

Key Responsibilities:

Secondary Operator Support the Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations Step in to lead shifts and cover scheduling gaps as needed Act as the primary point of contact when the Manager is unavailable Shift Leadership Run shifts independently when needed Support the team and maintain smooth service flow Step into a leadership role as required to keep operations on track Execute Daily Operations Assist with opening and closing procedures Prepare and serve menu items, including soft serve ice cream Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed Service & Cleanliness Maintain high standards for service speed and customer experience Ensure a clean, organized, and compliant work environment Training & Onboarding Assist in training new hires on procedures, equipment, and service expectations Support onboarding and help new team members integrate smoothly Hiring Support Assist the Manager with interviews and onboarding processes

Qualifications:

Previous food service or customer service experience required Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced setting Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Pay:
