Bartender

Overall Job Function:

Contribute to the delivery of superlative customer experience at Copperworks Kenmore location through our spirits, cocktails, and brand story. The Bartender sets the pace for the Tasting Room/Bar and can assist the guest through any portion of their experience.

The position is part-time (approximately 20-28 hours/week), with the possibility of additional shifts in the future.

Functions and Duties:

Serve as informed, engaging resource for customers regarding Copperworks (products, history, production process, etc.), craft distilling, spirits, and local area restaurants/bars/attractions.

Greet guests entering the tasting room and facilitate guided product tastings and/or take orders for cocktails. Prepare the tasting room for opening and closing daily (restocking merchandise, prepping the bar, counting cash drawer, cleaning main space, barrel room, restroom, etc.)Maintain bar front and back and keep clean, organized, and well stocked. Learn the basics of cocktail prep/pre-batching if needed.

Bus and clean tables after each guest leaves, keep patio organized, keep bus stations clear of dirty glassware, trash.

Process customer payments through the Point-of-Sale system.

Ensure that glassware and other tasting room equipment is properly cleaned and ready to be used for tastings. Answer phone calls and effectively address phone inquiries.

Monitor the restroom during open hours to ensure it is always clean and well-stocked.

Assist with maintaining retail inventory and processing incoming retail products.

Available to assist with Copperworks events held both onsite and offsite.

Must be available weekends and evenings.

Remain on your feet for much of the day.

Must have Mast-12 and WA State Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hiring.
