Job Description
Ramie on Capitol Hill is looking to add an enthusiastic and knowledgable bartender to its service team! Current shifts available are Thursday-Saturday with the availability to cover and add to your schedule as business grows. Shifts are typically 6-7 hours long and family meal is provided.
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by crafting high-quality beverages, providing knowledgeable recommendations, and maintaining a professional, welcoming demeanor. This role supports both the bar and dining room operations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and hospitality in every guest interaction.
Maintain full knowledge of cocktail, beer, wine, and spirits menus.
Ensure all bar setup, stocking, and closing procedures are completed efficiently.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Manage cash and POS transactions accurately.
Assist in creating and testing new cocktails and seasonal beverage offerings.
Greet guests promptly and warmly, ensuring an outstanding dining experience.
Present menus, explain dishes, and make food and drink pairing recommendations.
Enter and process orders through the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring correct presentation.
Maintain a clean and organized section, including tables, service stations, and silverware.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
Uphold all company policies, health, and safety regulations.
Maintain professional appearance and punctuality.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient service.
Support other team roles when needed to ensure service excellence.
