Banquet Server/Bartender The Wisconsin Hotel & Conference Center / The Crystal Room Part-Time Position Summary We are seeking friendly, reliable, energetic, and professional Banquet Servers & Bartenders to join our events team. Banquet Servers & Bartenders are responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service for weddings, meetings, conferences, holiday parties, and special events while ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests. This position works closely with the banquet and catering team to set up event spaces, serve guests efficiently, and assist with event breakdown at the conclusion of functions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms and bars according to event diagrams and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) Prepare tables, linens, place settings, buffets, bars, and service stations Provide professional food and beverage service to guests during events Maintain cleanliness throughout events Assist coworkers, kitchen staff, and banquet leadership as needed Maintain knowledge of event timelines and service expectations Ensure banquet spaces remain clean, organized, and presentation-ready Break down event spaces and properly store equipment after events Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive attitude Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors during events Qualifications Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude Ability to remain organized and dependable during busy events Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Schedule Primarily evenings and weekends Hours vary based on event schedule Benefits Flexible scheduling Employee discounts Opportunities for growth within the hospitality team Fun, team-oriented work environment
