Job Description
Job Summary Our busy lakefront bar and restaurant is looking for energetic, friendly bartenders to join our team. You will craft and serve beverages with precision, engage with guests to create memorable experiences, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality. Your enthusiasm and expertise will contribute to a dynamic setting where every guest feels valued and appreciated. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your bartending skills, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and be a key part of a passionate team dedicated to excellence. Duties Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with flair and professionalism. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits. Operate POS systems and accurately process orders, payments, and tips. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all food safety standards are consistently met. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, while maintaining accountability. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with health regulations. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy hours. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs. Experience Bartending experience preferred (but willing to train the right person) Positive attitude and strong worth ethic. Friendly personality and great communication skills Familiarity with POS systems for seamless order processing. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and summer shifts.
