Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marine Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will offer an exciting opportunity to work on various marine projects, and contribute to the safety and performance of watercrafts. Duties Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on marine engines, propulsion systems, and electrical systems. Work along side lead mechanic and willing to learn. Interpret technical schematics and assembly instructions to troubleshoot complex marine electrical and mechanical systems effectively. Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance, repair, and operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in marine maintenance; familiarity with marine mechanics is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting methods related to marine electrical and mechanical systems. Experience working with marine electrical systems maintenance, marine propulsion systems maintenance, and electrical diagnostics. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, precision tools. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and perform assembly tasks efficiently. Experience with water transportation equipment maintenance including engine repair and mechanical systems repair in marine environments. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing tasks that require standing for extended periods; commitment to safety practices.
