• Part-time Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Bartender / Server to join our team in Mauston.

The ideal candidate will have a joy of serving great food options, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. As a Bartender / Server you will be responsible for customer service for the bar and tables(when no other server), crafting delicious beverages, providing an outstanding guest experience, and maintaining a clean and organized bar and floor area. Must be available to work Saturday, Sunday and Monday shifts. Average hourly earnings includes both hourly wage and tips. It is common to make $30

Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Operate Toast POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including regular cleaning of glassware, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations while handling food and beverages. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquets or catering events to ensure seamless service. Handle cash transactions accurately while following proper cash handling procedures. Experience Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant is required. Familiarity with food service operations and knowledge of food handling practices is essential. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Basic math skills for managing tabs, processing payments, and conducting cash handling duties. A background in hospitality or retail math can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
