We are seeking a talented individual who is passionate about delivering high quality customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Check customer identification and confirm legal drinking age is met Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, mocktails, and beers Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and taking orders Candidates must be professional, dependable, enthusiastic and friendly Knowledge of the bar menu options to answer guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner Clearly relay information via telephone and in person Handle cash transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer accurately and efficiently Ability to execute productive teamwork Collaborate with bar staff to ensure timely service of drinks for guests Upsell additional products when appropriate Ensure guest satisfaction by performing such duties as attending to their requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently, and accepting changes or additions in work hours Clean the bar in accordance with company standards, stock bar items and maintain overall cleanliness at all times Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages Lift and change kegs when needed Work as a liaison with all bar staff and Managers to assist with any needed items for bar including supplies and customer feedback Provide day-to-day work direction to team members to ensure efficient functioning of bartender staff Work with bartenders to ensure that all opening/closing duties and side work are completed Countdown drawers at close of business Walk through entire bar area to ensure that all equipment are are where they should be stocked and clean prior to closing Supervise and address employee issues and customer issues when General Manager or Taproom Manager are not present Comply with all food and beverage, policy, procedures and regulations Maintain a trustworthy, respectful and positive attitude Motivate team and ensure good performance from all members to keep things running smoothly Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance to General Manager Maintain a high-level of personal hygiene and appearance to represent a clean and professional environment All employees must be flexible and assume other job responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management and as management deems necessary; this means fulfilling all other job duties as assigned Flexible when scheduling shifts and willingness to work nights and weekends Serve as a replacement in team members absence Qualifications Previous experience working as a bartender in the industry is required Previous supervisory experience is preferred Proficiency in using POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders accurately Familiarity with different types of beverages including beer, cocktails, wine and spirits Requirement Prior bartending experience and beer knowledge are required Must be 21 years of age Must be available to work 4-5 shifts per week including weekend days Must be ServSafe alcohol certified or willing to complete within training period Compensation We offer competitive pay based on experience. Employees that work 30+ hours a week will be eligible for health insurance. We offer vision and dental insurance to all employees regardless of hours.
