Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.
Responsibilities:
The Baggage Handler will be responsible for providing courteous and professional transportation of luggage and any items that need to be stored. Perform duties asked by a Bell-Captain/Supervisor. Examples of Duties , includes but is not limited to the following : Ensure courteous, prompt, and consistent luggage assistance is provided to all guests. Inspects tags on baggage to ensure that baggage is routed to designated location. Ensure that items are gridded correctly and handled in a professional and safe manner. Must be able to drive a motorized vehicle in a safe and professional manner. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests. Bilingual highly desirable. One year experience as a Bell Person at a major hotel preferred. High school education or equivalent preferred.
