Job Description:
The Bell Person position is responsible for performing the duties of both the hotel door and hotel bell positions Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Greets arriving and departing guests Assists with transporting baggage and personal belongings Assists with obtaining transportation for Guests when requested
Qualifications:
High School, GED, or equivalent required Minimum one (1) year of hotel bell/door experience desired Must have the ability to use good judgment in stressful situations Must have a willingness to learn all Table Games offered at the Casino Must be able to promote an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times Must possess exceptional Guest service skills Must be able to work a varied schedule, to include nights, weekends, and holidays Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures Must be willing and able to assist with any Guest or Staff Member request in a consummately professional, positive, and proactive manner Must be able to provide clear and concise directions and information to hotel guests
Work Environment:
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the hotel and back of house of the casino, which can be faced-paced. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work standing/walking for long periods of time and in various weather conditions
