Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Cart Attendant to support our golf operations team. The Cart Attendant is responsible for preparing, cleaning, staging, and returning golf carts while providing friendly and professional service to our guests. This position plays an important role in keeping daily golf operations organized, safe, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare golf carts before and after use. Stage golf carts in designated areas and ensure they are ready for guests. Retrieve and return golf carts throughout the day. Remove trash and restock carts with scorecards, pencils, towels, and other approved golf supplies. Check golf carts for visible damage, low battery levels, or other maintenance issues and report any concerns to management. Keep the cart barn, cart staging area, and surrounding work areas clean and organized. Assist guests with loading and unloading golf bags when needed. Provide friendly and professional customer service to members and guests. Assist with driving range and other outside golf operations duties as assigned. Follow all golf course safety procedures and cart operation rules. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Friendly and professional when interacting with members, guests, and coworkers. Ability to safely operate a golf cart. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with limited supervision. Previous golf course, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Schedule Expectations:
Part-time position with hours based on business needs. Weekend and holiday availability may be required. Schedule may vary depending on golf course operations, weather, and special events. Join our team and help us provide an excellent experience for every guest who visits our golf course.
