Join Our Team We are a sushi bar dedicated to excellence in both food and hospitality. Our team is passionate about Japanese culinary traditions, seasonal ingredients, and creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. We are looking for a Busser who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized dining room, and supports both the service team and our guests with professionalism and care. Position Summary As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth service by supporting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and resetting tables efficiently. Your attention to detail and teamwork will help create a seamless dining experience that reflects the high standards of our restaurant. Key Responsibilities Quickly and efficiently clear and reset tables between guests. Stock and maintain service stations with necessary supplies (glassware, silverware, napkins, condiments). Assist servers with food and beverage service, including replenishing water and beverages. Transport dirty dishware to the dishwashing area and maintain a clean dining environment. Wipe down chairs, booths, and tables; sweep or clean floors as needed. Perform restroom checks to ensure cleanliness and restocking. Support the service team with food running and general guest needs. Assist with special cleaning tasks and unexpected situations (e.g., spills). Contribute to overall guest satisfaction by maintaining a welcoming and efficient dining atmosphere. Qualifications Previous busser or restaurant experience required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH A MUST.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 40-50 lbs throughout shifts. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be 21 or over. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Japanese food and service. Strong organizational abilities. Compensation & Benefits Hourly compensation: $18/hour, plus tips. Employee dining discounts.
