MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The Cafeteria Assistant position requires the ability to:- Prepare both hot and cold dishes for large groups
- Meet sanitation, food handling, and food storage requirements
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, parents, staff, and supervisors
- Comply with schedules and meet deadlines
- Pass required background checks and clearances DUTIES
- Assists in the preparation of meals
- Assists with daily cleanup, including sweeping mopping & disposing of waste
- Uses and cleans kitchen equipment
- Helps to set up food on counters, food carts and steam tables
- Serves during meal time
- Washes dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, tables, counters
