ABOUT THE ROLE

The Lead Café Attendant is responsible for overseeing communication with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. They must comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards and must also maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. They will follow all standard policies and procedures within their assigned department.

WORK SCHEDULE

Tuesday - Saturday / 9:00am - 5:30pm (Opening/Mid)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Assist in scheduling and confirming staff needs. Assist management with keeping crew on task /breaks and lunches while also taking yours to ensure coverage. Answer customer catering phone calls/leads and confirm orders for catering with customers. Address customers and work with management to correct any mistakes by staff, issue correction /voids for workers after evaluation of reasons. Keep recipe binder organized and complete, making sure all workers are following guidelines. Assist management with Inventory and supplies needed by filling out reports and comparing invoices for correct billing. Works directly with Management on training staff Assist with the creative development of new sales products such as drink specials, and desserts. Menu planning, Cash handling/ training, monitor health inspection readiness at all times. Works with management on online correspondence planning /pertaining catering /VIP orders. Keep up with Attendant responsibilities. Responsible for opening/closing Café in managers absence Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
