Duties Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders at the coffee bar and cashier station Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the café area, including food handling, bussing tables, and adhering to food safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness in accordance with sanitation guidelines Ensure quick service in a fast-paced environment typical of quick service & fast food restaurants or cafés Skills Proven experience in food service or retail environments with strong cashiering skills Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transactions Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell products confidently to increase sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations Experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting is highly desirable Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus for food prep responsibilities Attention to sanitation standards for food handling and overall cleanliness in the café environment Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while honing your skills in a lively café setting!
