Overview Join our dynamic team as a Breakfast Attendant and be the first smile guests see in the morning! You'll be responsible for preparing and serving a delicious breakfast buffet, ensuring all food safety standards are met, and providing outstanding customer service. Schedule The current schedule for this position is Saturday & Sunday 6am-11am and Monday-Tuesday 5:30am-10:30am. There are times when you may leave earlier or stay longer depending on breakfast traffic. You may also be requested to work other days in order to assist with coverage when colleagues request time off. Duties Set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh, high-quality food items, ensuring all displays are attractive and inviting Serve guests efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service, answering questions, and accommodating dietary preferences Prepare food items according to safety and quality standards, including basic food handling and presentation techniques Replenish buffet items regularly to ensure a continuous flow of fresh offerings throughout service hours Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including sanitizing surfaces and proper food storage Assist with catering or banquet setups when needed, supporting larger events or special occasions Follow all food safety protocols and dietary guidelines to ensure guest safety and satisfaction Experience Previous experience in food service environments is desirable but not required San Diego food handler card is desirable but not required. We will pay for training. Strong background in customer service, with the ability to engage warmly with guests Experience serving or working at buffets, banquets, or catering events enhances your suitability for this role Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards is essential Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation can be an added advantage Hospitality background with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences is preferred Dietary aide or food industry experience demonstrates your understanding of health regulations and dietary needs This vibrant position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality expertise while ensuring every guest starts their day on a positive note.
