Position Objective The Busser supports the guest experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. This role is responsible for clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables and service areas while supporting the team to ensure smooth and seamless service. Bussers are expected to operate with T.R.A.Y. as the foundation of service, prioritizing timeliness, respect, attention to detail, and your responsibility in every interaction.   • Clear, clean, and reset tables and bar tops quickly and thoroughly, including edges, under tables, and seating areas Service Flow
  • Complete one table fully before moving to the next to maintain organization and efficiency Cleanliness & Floors
  • Keep all walkways, dining areas, patios, and surrounding spaces clean and free of debris at all times Stocking & Readiness
  • Proactively restock side stations with plates, glassware, utensils, napkins, and water carafes Support & Teamwork
  • Assist with refilling water, pre-bussing, and running food as needed to support overall service Guest Support
  • Respond to guest needs by assisting directly or connecting them with their server Key Responsibilities Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently throughout service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, bar, patio, and service stations Monitor and maintain floor cleanliness, including indoor and outdoor areas Restock and organize all service stations to ensure readiness for service Assist servers with pre-bussing and resetting tables to maintain flow Refill water and support guest needs throughout the dining experience Run food and assist with service execution as needed Support team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations Communicate clearly with team members to maintain awareness and flow Complete opening, running, and closing side work Participate in pre-shift meetings and team communication Demonstrate urgency, awareness, and professionalism at all times Physical Requirements The ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and move throughout all areas of the restaurant Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift or move items up to 50 pounds Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions Ability to work safely around hot surfaces, wet floors, glassware, walk-in refrigerators/freezers, and cleaning chemicals Certifications Food safety and RBS certification are required If not currently certified, employees must complete certifications within 30 days of hire Harassment Prevention Training Compensation & Benefits Tips 401 (k) Retirement Savings Plan Supplemental phone allowance shift meal benefits 100% employer-paid health insurance for employees averaging 28+ hours/week Employee portal for paystubs, W-2, and benefit access Transportation and commuter benefits Group gym membership rates Career development opportunities On-Demand Pay Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
