Responsibilities Set up and maintain catering stations according to event specifications, ensuring food and beverage areas are organized, properly presented, and ready for service. Assist with food preparation and service, including plating, portioning, serving, and maintaining proper presentation standards. Provide attentive, professional, and courteous service to guests throughout the event. Manage beverage service, including wine and beverage pouring, applying basic wine knowledge, and operating POS systems when applicable. Buss tables and maintain clean, organized dining and service areas throughout the event. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures. Work closely with the event team to ensure efficient service from setup through breakdown and cleanup. Follow directions and adapt to changing event needs while maintaining a positive, professional attitude. Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and supervisors. Remain calm and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure event environments. Maintain a polished, professional appearance and a friendly, confident, guest-focused demeanor. Be reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling, including evenings and weekends. Working knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and spirits

Age Requirement:

Candidate(s) must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be hired. Skills Previous catering, restaurant, hospitality, or event experience preferred. Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and proper sanitation procedures Ability to perform basic math for accurate portioning and transaction processing using POS systems Experience with beverage service, including wine knowledge and drink presentation techniques Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions Familiarity with fine dining standards and food preparation techniques is a plus Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail and high service standards. Valid California Food Handler Certificate required. Event Setup & Breakdown Set up tables, chairs, linens, glassware, silverware, and other event equipment according to the event layout and specifications. Assist with arranging and preparing food and beverage stations, ensuring they are fully stocked, organized, and ready before guests arrive. Break down tables, service stations and event areas following each event, ensuring all items are cleaned, organized, and returned to their designated storage areas. Assist with final cleanup to ensure the venue is left clean and orderly.
