The primary responsibility of the Food Services Technician position is to offer superior support and professionalism in the day to day operations of the Food Program to our students and staff in a structured, positive, Christ-centered environment. Job Responsibilities Follow school procedures and policies that are set by the Employer. Demonstrate and commit to excellent communication with parents, students and faculty to maintain the VCS standard of excellence in alI areas of performance. Proficiency in technology resources and applications that are necessary for the completion of the job . Must be able to manage confidential information in a professional manner. Ensure efficiency and strong customer service within the Food Services Department. Prepare food for special events as needed, such as Staff Orientation, In-service Training Sessions, National Day of Prayer and Pastor Appreciation. Prepare and cook foods as instructed and in accordance with the California Retail Food and Facilities codes. Shop and stock items from local vendors. Daily cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and area. Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs. Other Responsibilities Ability to move about the school building(s) and campus.
