ServSafe Food Handler Certification Experience Preferred:
Food service experience in healthcare setting. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Testing Must pass the Physical Capacity Exam (PCE). This exam includes a 50-pound lifting requirement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Cleans pots and pans using department standard. Takes and documents logs as required. Puts away pots and pans in designated area. Discards any big or small equipment(s) that are broken or torn. Informs Executive Chef for proper placement. Maintains sanitation standard on all pots/pans designated area i.e. replacement of bottom flexi cover on the bottom of the shelves and cover of dirty cart. Informs Lead or Executive Chef when needs to be replaced. Mops or uses squeegee to remove excess water on the floor. Rolls silverware as needed. Additional Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area. Performs other duties as assigned.
