DIRECTOR OF FOOD SERVICES SUMMARY
To assist in the preparation and service of quality food to students in a quick and pleasant manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for all general food preparation, serving and sanitation procedures. Assists in the preparation of vegetables, salads, sandwiches and other menu items. Assists in counter set-up and breakdown. Assists in serving of daily menu items. Responsible for sanitation in specific work areas and general kitchen cleanup. Performs other duties as requested by supervisors.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
TO
PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY. THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND/OR ABILITY REQUIRED. REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS MAY BE MADE TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Previous experience with large-scale cooking and food preparation/serving.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurements, volume and distance.
