Job Description

New Horizon Foods is seeking an Assistant Dining Services Director for Colebrook Village. In this leadership role, you will support overall dining operations for a senior living community, ensuring high-quality, fresh, scratch-made meals and excellent service. Responsibilities include supervising staff, supporting menu planning, assisting with ordering and inventory, ensuring food safety and sanitation compliance, and helping manage budgets. You'll collaborate closely with the Dining Services Director, build positive relationships with residents and clients, and model our culture of integrity, teamwork, and responsive, hands-on service. Responsibilities Support overall dining operations for a senior living community Supervise and schedule dining and kitchen staff Assist with menu planning and implementation of scratch-made meals Oversee ordering, inventory, and cost control Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Support budget management and financial goals Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and clients Train and coach team members to uphold service standards Collaborate with Dining Services Director on initiatives and improvements Model a culture of integrity, teamwork, and responsive service Required Skills Food service operations management Staff supervision and scheduling Menu planning and production Inventory management and ordering Food safety and sanitation (HACCP/Serv Safe) Budgeting and cost control Customer and resident service Team leadership and training Regulatory compliance in healthcare/senior living Microsoft Office or POS/kitchen management systems
