Carbone is an Italian-American restaurant created by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick. The restaurant pays homage to the essence of the great Italian-American restaurants of mid-20th century in New York, where delicious, exceptionally well-prepared food was served in settings that were simultaneously elegant, comfortable and unpretentious. The food nods to that same history, but takes its culinary cues from the great talents and techniques of the present and of the future. Familiar dishes like Seafood Salad, Linguini Vongole, Lobster Fra Diavola, Chicken Scarpariello and Veal Parmesan elevated to a new level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Captain in table service and guest interaction Assist in setting and resetting tables in accordance with service standards Assist in anticipating guests' needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience. Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Check tables throughout service times for Member satisfaction, and assist in resolving guest issues.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant preferred Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual. Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service. Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays). Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs. Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.
