Job Summary:

Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is in search of a detail-oriented and dedicated Banquet Event Set-up to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating memorable event experiences by setting up and arranging venues throughout our stunning resort. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare event spaces for various functions, including meetings, weddings, banquets, and conferences. Set up and arrange tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and audio-visual equipment. Ensure the layout and design of each event space meet the specific requirements and preferences of our guests. Collaborate closely with event planners and the culinary team to ensure seamless event execution. Maintain inventory of event setup materials and report any shortages. Uphold cleanliness and organization in all event setup areas.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects and furniture (up to 50 pounds). Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Work in various indoor and outdoor environments throughout the resort. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy setting. Possess the physical dexterity to assemble and arrange event setup items.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in event setup, banquet services, or a related field is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset for event arrangement. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints. Knowledge of the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort and its facilities is beneficial. EOE M/D/F/V
