Overview:

The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving high‑quality meals for patients and cafeteria services in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal standards. This role requires strong attention to sanitation, food safety, and consistency in meal production.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food for patient meals and cafeteria service, following established recipes, production tools, and dietary guidelines. Ensure all food handling, preparation, and storage meet regulatory sanitation requirements. Follow diet orders and food consistency requirements for individual patients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment in compliance with sanitation policies. Ensure food and supplies are properly stocked and available for upcoming meals. Provide timely meal service and demonstrate excellent customer service to patients and staff. Work productively as part of an interdisciplinary team and maintain professional relationships with staff and vendors

Schedule & Shifts Shifts Available:

5:00 AM - 1:30 PM 9:00 AM - 5:30

PM Availability Required:

Must be open to working both shifts Must be open to weekend work 5-6 days per week Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nokomis, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Nokomis,FL.
