Job Description

SUMMARY ChefAdvantage is seeking an experienced Food Prep/ Driver/Server to fill an opening at one of our schools, starting in August 2026. The candidate must be able to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM . The Food Prep/Driver/Server is responsible for preparing food items, loading vans, and delivering food and supplies to clients. Once on site, the Driver/Server is responsible for serving food and beverages to students, faculty, and guests in client food service facilities in a pleasant and timely manner. Whenever possible, the Driver assists Cooks with food preparation, storing food and supplies delivered by vendors, and overall kitchen sanitation, including ware washing, equipment cleaning, floor maintenance, and trash removal.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and/or
RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must have an outgoing, friendly personality! Slice deli meats and assemble other items for the deli bar. Loads delivery van with needed food and supplies. Checks van for accuracy and any defects with loaded goods. Promptly transport food and supplies to the client's location. Unload the delivery van and bring food to the client's kitchen or designated area. Greets students, teachers, and guests in a pleasant, polite, and professional manner on delivery. Delivers menus and correspondence from the ChefAdvantage office to specific clients. Sets up serving line, including hot and cold stations. Serves food and beverages accurately and on time. Replenishes hot and cold food stations as needed. Maintains ice and beverages at the beverage station. Maintains cleanliness of serving line and kitchen area. After serving, return soiled dishes to ChefAdvantage. Clean up the dining room and kitchen area.
