Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server Assistant/Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position is also a tipped position on top of the hourly rate. It requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, teamwork, and an understanding of the fast-paced environment of food service. Duties Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Help set up for banquets and special events as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly. Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks when necessary. Ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards before serving. Skills Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
