We are looking for a Server Assistants (aka Bar Backs) to join our team to work effectively with servers/bartenders to enhance their productivity. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, running food/drinks, restocking coolers, changing kegs, clearing/cleaning tables, assisting with dish washing, disposing of trash, facilitating order fulfillment, and addressing any other server/bartender needs. If you'd like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to provide an excellent customer experience, we'd like to meet you. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including weekends. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by ensuring the bartenders/servers are well supported. The better job you do, the better the reward in the form of a tip out. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately Restocking coolers and liquor to ensure product is readily available Changing kegs and CO2 as required Making mixes per recipe and cutting fruit Disposing of trash as needed Assist with cleaning dishes, silverware, and glassware Assist the server with table setting by providing eating utensils, napkins, and condiments prior to food delivery Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables and preparing for next guest Inform server/bartender about customers' feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check) Addressing any server/bartender ad-hoc needs Skills No prior experience required, will train Physical ability and stamina to carry dishes and stand for long hours Availability to work various shifts, including weekends Multi-tasking abilities in chaotic work environment Good English communication skills (oral and reading) Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment Work well with others and taking instructions on whats required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to obtain Liquor Control Card from Maui County (within 6 months)
