Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they start their day with a delicious, well-presented breakfast experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere, uphold food safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and set up breakfast stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service. Assist with food preparation tasks, including slicing, assembling, and plating dishes according to established standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen stations, and food storage spaces by following strict sanitizing procedures. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, coffee machines, toasters, and other appliances. Serve guests in person with friendly and attentive customer service while processing cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitize all surfaces and utensils regularly. Handle weight-based food handling tasks responsibly while adhering to dietary guidelines and allergy considerations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling practices, and culinary standards. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; manual handling skills are essential. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory levels. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person. Experience with POS systems and processing payments accurately. Familiarity with food industry regulations related to food safety management and sanitation standards.
