Company Overview On The Hook Fish And Chips is a dynamic food truck operation that began in 2016. With a commitment to excellence, we specialize in serving wild-caught Alaskan cod, expertly beer-battered and paired with house-made sauces. Summary We are seeking enthusiastic Food Truck Staff to join our Iowa team in Granger, IA just outside of Des Moines, IA. Our food truck workers have amazing earning potential typically making around $1500-$2300 per week average. Work shifts are Tuesday-Saturdays and are typically 50-65 hours per week (with traveling to serving locations within Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois). Responsibilities Prepare and cook food items according to our established recipes and standards. Ensure proper food handling and safety protocols are followed at all times. Assist customers with their orders, promote menu items and upsell additional products while maintaining excellent customer service. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck and kitchen area. Manage inventory and assist with stock replenishment as needed Requirements

OVERNIGHT TRAVEL IS REQUIRED.

Must be 21+ years of age or older due to driving requirements. Background checks are required. A valid driver's license and a c lean driving record is required . Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment as part of a team. Experience driving a medium duty truck is preferred but not required.
