Breakfast Attendant - Element West Des Moines Element West Des Moines is seeking a reliable, energetic, and guest-focused Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive guest experience each morning through food preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service. This position requires availability for early morning shifts, with start times as early as 5:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as scheduled. Responsibilities Prepare and set up the daily breakfast service in accordance with Marriott brand standards Prepare breakfast foods, bake muffins and other items, and operate the live-cook station for guests Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked breakfast area throughout service Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to hotel guests Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines Clean and maintain the breakfast area, lobby, tables, chairs, floors, and surrounding guest areas Restock food, beverages, utensils, and supplies as needed throughout breakfast service Assist with additional housekeeping, cleaning, or guest service tasks as needed Work collaboratively with other hotel team members to support daily operations Qualifications Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable interacting with guests and providing excellent customer service Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift Dependable transportation and ability to consistently report for early morning shifts Previous food service, hospitality, or hotel experience preferred, but not required What We Offer Flexible scheduling opportunities Team-oriented work environment Employee hotel discounts through Marriott Opportunities to learn and grow within the hospitality industry 401(k) matching
