This position is responsible for ensuring guests receive a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked breakfast experience each morning.
Responsibilities:
Set up the breakfast area before service begins Prepare coffee and approved hot breakfast items according to hotel procedures Stock and replenish food, beverages, utensils, condiments, and supplies Monitor food temperatures, freshness, and presentation Keep tables, counters, equipment, and serving areas clean and organized Greet guests and respond courteously to basic questions or requests Follow food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Remove trash and clean spills promptly Break down and clean the breakfast area after service Wash dishes and clean appliances, counters, floors, and storage areas Track supplies and notify management when items need to be reordered Assist with other light cleaning or hotel duties as needed
Qualifications:
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Friendly and professional when interacting with guests Able to follow written preparation and cleaning procedures Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Able to stand for the duration of the shift and lift approximately 25-30 pounds Previous hotel, restaurant, food-service, or housekeeping experience is helpful but not required Food-handler certification is preferred or must be obtained if required
Schedule:
This is a part-time, early-morning position. Applicants must be available to work weekends and some holidays. Exact hours will depend on the hotel's breakfast schedule and business needs. We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping the breakfast area welcoming, sanitary, and fully stocked for our guests.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 30.0 per week
