$17/hour Position Summary The Food Service Worker is a versatile member of the Nutrition Services team who supports both customer service and food production. This position works in a variety of areas based on daily needs, including cashiering, serving meals, food preparation, and Meals on Wheels production. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, enjoys working with people, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide friendly and welcoming customer service. Operate the register and process customer transactions. Serve meals and run food to tables. Assist with basic food preparation, portioning, and packaging. Support Meals on Wheels production and meal assembly. Stock food, beverages, and supplies as needed. Maintain clean and organized dining, service, and food preparation areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures. Work cooperatively with staff and volunteers and assist in different areas of the department as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.
