Monarch Landing is seeking a hospitality-minded Café Attendant to join our team. About the Role As a Café Attendant, you'll help create an exceptional dining experience for our residents, guests, and team members. You'll provide friendly, personalized service while supporting daily café operations, food preparation, and safety and sanitation. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and understands that the little details can make a big difference in someone's day.
Schedule:
Part-Time | 3 shifts per week | 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Pay:
$16/hour What You'll Do Provide warm, personalized service to residents, staff, and guests. Take orders and serve meals while accommodating individual preferences and requests. Explain menu items and confidently answer questions. Assist with assigned food preparation and ensure food is handled and stored safely. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary café environment. Learn and effectively use the dining point-of-service system. Work collaboratively with residents, families, guests, visitors, supervisors, and fellow team members. Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of service. Consistently demonstrate courtesy, patience, tact, and graciousness. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. At least six months of experience working in a kitchen or food-service environment. Food service sanitation certification required within the first 30 days of employment. Knowledge of food preparation, storage, handling techniques, and equipment. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. Strong customer-service skills and a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a resident-focused environment. Reliable and predictable attendance.
