Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Food Service Worker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and experience in the food service industry, particularly in meal preparation and cooking on the grill. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our customers while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and various items according to menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Assist in menu planning and meal preparation, collaborating with the culinary team to create delicious offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Monitor food inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed to ensure optimal stock for meal preparation. Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs or requests from customers. Help train new kitchen staff on proper grill techniques and food handling procedures. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance issues to management promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, preferably within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and menu planning. Familiarity with food handling safety standards and practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
