Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all food handling meets health regulations Restock supplies such as utensils, condiments, and beverages to keep the breakfast area fully equipped Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing fruit or assembling simple dishes as needed Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems and handle weight-based items with proper manual handling techniques Skills Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments preferred, especially with fine dining or restaurant experience Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor in in-person interactions Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels Familiarity with food handling practices, including dietary considerations and culinary standards Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Knowledge of wine or beverage service is a plus but not required Ability to lift moderate weights regularly and stand for extended periods throughout shifts This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within the food industry while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
